How to change the write protection of your usb flash drive

If you need access to a write-protected usb flash drive, it's hard to change it, to make your visit, especially if it is a security-optimized flash drive. However, you can also take the following practical steps to change the write protection on the flash drive.

Check for write-protect switch. This switch, when engaged, will lock the flash drive contents, is a very common security features. It is typically located on one side of said mini usb flash drive, and having an "enable" or "ON" position and an "off" position. Push the "OFF" position up.

Alternative password security. If your flash drive has password security, but you have already forgotten the code, you can try to go to the Start menu and select Overwrite Security function "Run."
